My estimate is ~70% of the applicants joined the group. On average I've been getting 1-2 joining notification everyday. I also know that international applicants who reside in a country where Facebook is banned, cannot join the group. (China, for example, there should be 10+ admits in China for ED) So my guess is there are at least 100+ ED admits now

For the most part, anyone who can get into Columbia, can probably get around Government filters. Proxies were easy to get last time I was in China.

Does Columbia waitlist any ED applicants? Or defer them to RD?

Yup. Lurker here. Been deferred until later (deferral status update given 7 days after feedback was submitted). if you're deferred you will receive a decision any time before feb 1st, 2014.

for those finished your interviews, how did you know when your interviewer submitted their report? I mean did you get an email notification for the interview report submitted or you need to log in your application page to check the status. Thanks!
