Hi,
My GMAT is scheduled for July 24. My scores range from 590 to 680..I am aiming at 700+ or atleast a 690.

The more we sweat in peace, the less we bleed in war. You are aiming 700+ and you have not scored 700 even in one of the tests. The logical conclusion is that you should postpone your test by some time and ensure that you get at least 700 in two consecutive tests before writing GMAT. Postponing your tests is a great way to keep the momentum going into GMAT. Once you have got a score on the GMAT it's much harder to motivate yourself. It only costs 50$ to postpone versus 250$ to rewrite.

Thanks AbhiJ..You seem to be a veteran in this forum and your words will have experience factored in...Unfortunately I will have to finishGMAT by July end and I cannot postpone it...I will try to sweat till the last minute and try to get a 690 atleast...I will religiously review my mistakes in the past tests ..I still have GMAT Prep 2 to be taken ...I will take it in the coming week...Thanks once again..

Hi sunder,

Few tips to increase ur GMAT Mock test score and increasing confidence

1) Take the practice tests in a similar Test day setup. Be in a separate room and have a mindset like a test day
2) Dont be casual thinking that it is jus a test drill
3) Before taking the test refresh all the formulas and notes u would have written for ur weaker sections
4) Dont be disturbed by phone calls or other people atleast for 3 hours
5) Dont take the test if u r in a stress, feeling fatigue, or in any unpleasant situation. Have a cool mind and give 100% efforts and seriousness

I am sure u will score a min of 700+ in ur GMATprep test. These scores gives u a lot of confidence in ur test day but it should not be overconfidence

Hope this helps you for improving ur confidence level.

Not sure what happenned...Took the GMAT Prep yest ...Got a disappointing 600... Q49 V23....I felt Verbal was too tough...was running out of time and marked answers haphazardly..20 Incorrect answers..
I was averaging 34 in all other tests....

My D Day is July 24.

Any suggestions for the last few days would be greatly appreciated...

Kindly do not criticise me ...or use negative words...I am already deep in sorrow...

Make sure other factors such as sleeplessness, fatigue, being famished are not bothering you because these are in your control.
All the best!
