43 in quant despite of getting only 9 questions wrong.:(

Hi Everyone

I just gave gmatprep exam and i got a 690 41 in verbal and 43 in quant.
My strong suit is quant though i am glad with my verbal score but i got only 9 questions wrong in quant.
In the first 10 questions i got 2 wrong , is that a reason for the low score??

Experts please chime in as i have my gmat in next 20 days.

It is not about how many questions you got right but how many hard questions you got right. Remember that there are also experimental questions involved.
Don't dwell on it too much - take another test to see if that was a glitch (those happen).
You can also try the GMAT Club tests - they will be free July 3rd and July 4th.

Thanks for replying,i have already gone through the what if scenarios.
Later when i was going through the review of my test i realized that i was not able to do the last 2 questions because of time constraints .
I guess even that could account for a low score..
