Hello, I have my GMAT on August 14th 2014.

My Mock Test Scores below:

GMAT Prep 1 - 400(Q35,V12)
MGMAT test1 - 470(Q39,V17)
MGMAT test2 - 530(Q37,V26)
GMAT prep 2 - 510(Q44,V17)

As you can see from above scores my Quant score is improving in every mock but my verbal consistently low in all mocks.

After reviewing mocks I realized that my performance is very low in all Verbal sections. I always take more time for verbal questions and end up selecting a wrong choice.

My prep materials for Verbal are eGMAT verbal online and GMAT Club material for Verbal. What I should do differently and what approach I have to follow to improve my score in verbal sections? Please help me.

Thanks, Srikanth

Hi Krishna,

I have sent the my Mock score breakdown and also techniques I have been following to egmat Support. Can please review my mail and let me know what needs to be done to improve my score ?

I have rescheduled my GMAT today from August 14th to October 29th(which is next available date for me) due to low score in GMAT.
Also my Verbal Online subscription is expiring on August 15th .How I will be able to retain subscription till October end? Will I be charged extra?

Thanks, Srikanth.

Hi Srikanth,

Have you seen this forum's chat thread: how-to-improve-verbal-from-v30-to-v40-142361.html? There are a lot of good tips there.

Also, if you can give us more specifics on the type of questions you're having trouble with, it'll help us provide you with more tips.
