Ok. Here are my 2 cents.
QUANT:
Being an Indian, you should score atleast 45+ in Quant. Sorry to say but 37 is poor. When i gave my 1st mock diagnostic test without any prep, I got 460 with Q40. Even if you get 15 questions wrong in Quant, you will get 46 or 47. What you need to do? Answer is get MGMAT maths books and solve each and every problem from it. Once you are done with it thoroughly, you will score 45+ for sure.

VERBAL:
Yes we Indians arent that good at Verbal. SC are the easiest to improve on, then CR and lastly RC. What you need to do?
Go through MGMAT SC book for SC. For CR, read Powerscore Bible. For RC, nothing can work except practise and reading novels.

Also, go thorugh Bunuels signature collection for more harder problems in quant once you get your basics clear. There are definitely schools which will accept you with 460 score also. But they are way below average. Just going abroad shouldnt be your priority. Work harder and get 650 atleast and apply for top 40-50 schools.

I hope it should work.

Hi Divya,

I am currently preparing for my GMAT and joined Jamboree for the same. I suggest you can try it out as they dont only give classes but also give access to alot of practice materials and tests. Also, do the GMAT Club tests for practice in quant. The questions will be a bit tough but will prepare you for the GMAT, as in the exam you score better if you answer more number of difficult questions correctly. Verbal i suggest do the OG material and go through each and every mistake thoroughly; understand what the flaw is and try to grasp the concept. Give mock exams on GMAT Club (either buy them or try getting 25 kudos, i am trying for the same haha).

PM me if you need any more help. All the best.

Hai Rohan,

Thank you Rohan for your kind advise. But is jamboree coaching good? Is it online or class coaching? Also vaggar had told it is not that good.

What is your opinion about eGMAT classes and other Kaplan, Veritas classes?

As per my understanding, we will get gmat club tests as bonus if we attend egmat verbal live prep.

Thanks

Hi,

I just finished with my classes and was quite satisfied. It a classroom type teaching, not online. I dont think we will get the gmat club tests as bonus because i have attended one of the e-gmat sessions and didnt get access to all of them. Hence i am working on getting more kudos haha. E-gmat does seem to be nice, as after i attended their seminar, they posted stuff like guarantees and all on your score, for ed in verbal they said they guarantee an increase by 4 in your verbal score. so if u got a 30 for eg, they promise to increase it to 34 minimum, else they repay you. There is a seminar going on right now also,u should attend it.

Hai Rohan,

Thank you for your reply.

Where is this jamboree coaching center located? Which one is good in jamboree, verbal or maths?

Also For maths which coaching is good?

Also what is your final opinion regarding egmat? How will you get access to gmat club tests after attending only one session in egmat? Did you get satisfaction or saw any improvements after attending the egmat classes?

Thanks
Divya
