Hi
tgmat24. Thank you for the question. This is not a must be true question since it is an inference, but you can probably take that perspective.
D. The restraint of business environments contributes to the stress experienced by workers. The reason D is wrong is because it confuses the process of what the passage claims happens. It flips things around. Here is a basic diagram of how things progress:
| Stressful Situations --> | Release of powerful hormones --> | No way to burn up these hormones with physical activity because of --> restrained environment of the office | Unprocessed Anxiety -- > | Health Issues Productivity Drop |
So what restrained environment does is that it causes issues/problems to the right of it, such as
Unprocessed Anxiety and
Health Issues as well as
Productivity Drop. It does not cause or contribute to things to the left it such as stressful situations or release of powerful hormones. Those events happen independently of the restrained environment. (I have used arrows to indicate the process so to speak but not causality, just the progression of the process)
Hope this clears it up.
I have updated the explanation as well as made small grammatical tweaks to the answer choices.

I don’t quite agree with the solution. Looking at this from a "Must be true" perspective.
Option B: The passage mentions that stress hormones prime the body for physical activity but this does not mean that "increased" physical activity would be helpful in processing stressful situations.
Option D: The passage explicitly states that most business is conducted in restrained environments, and workers find few opportunities to respond to stress as their hormones seem to demand. This suggests that the restraint contributes to the stress experienced by workers.
