I wanted to gain some perspective on the value of Oxford MBA on a global level.
I see myself in Australia after my MBA. Do you think Said Business school will have the connections to provide me with a decent network downunder to work with?
Also any opinions on regional schools such as AGSM? Are they better placed for the Australian market?
We are talking about change of career into Management Consulting and Consulting roles in the industry only at the moment.
I do have a sizeable scholarship from AGSM. None at Oxford!! Do you think Oxford MBA is worth the extra buck?
Appreciate inputs from current / alumni of both Oxford and AGSM!!
Best, Lemmy

I'm an Australian doing my MBA at Oxford at the moment. In terms of network in Aus there are 6-8 Australians in the course every year (although the course is growing next year so expect 10+) so an Australian school will obviously have many more Aussie alumni. However you will get access to the broader Oxford alumni which is pretty handy in the long run.
In terms of ManCon if you've great/relevant work experience you'll likely get an interview if you go AGSM or Oxford. However if you are borderline Oxford is much more likely to tip things in your favour.
The Oxford brand is a lot stronger than AGSM. Also studying at Oxford and living abroad is just a good experience to have.
If you've got great work experience and money is tight take the scholarship and go AGSM.
If you can afford it I'd go Oxford. The brand carries a lot of weight in Australia and AGSM isn't quite on the same level.
