Hi,
I wanted to give mock tests for GMAT.
I have already given GMAT prep two mock tests along with manhattan and kaplan free mock test.
Can anyone suggest me some other mock tests that are computer adaptive.
Also, i was planning to buy mock tests of GMAT PREP , will they be helpful ?
Please suggest.

Hi veeralshah,
When it comes to CATs that you can purchase, there are a variety of respectable CATs available. While none of them is an exact match for the Official GMAT, they are all reasonably close. There are sets of CATs available from Kaplan, MGMAT and Veritas as well as the 2 additional CATs that you can purchase from GMAC.
Keep in mind that a CAT result is only as realistic as YOU make the CAT-taking experience. Thus, YOU have to take the CAT in a realistic and test-like fashion, including taking the ENTIRE CAT (with the Essay and IR sections), at the same time of day as your Official GMAT, away from your home, in a test-like environment and NOT do anything unrealistic (pausing the CAT, listening to music, skipping sections, etc.).
While it might be tempting to take lots of CATs, doing so is NOT what will make you a better Test Taker. A CAT is just a 'measuring device'; actual improvement comes from study, practice problems and quizzes, review, etc. The CAT is a way to measure your progress.

Of course Veeral. GMATPrep tests are the best tests available. So, you shouldn't think twice before buying them.
However, I would totally agree with what Rich mentions: A CAT is just a 'measuring device'; actual improvement comes from study, practice problems and quizzes, review.
Rich, I have a doubt. There are 2 GMATPrep tests available for free and 2 additional ones that we can buy. Are the question banks in each of these 4 GMATPrep tests "separate", or can we see same questions repeated? I would think they should not repeat.

Hi sukanyar,
I've read some posts from users who have found 'bugs' in the software (which did lead to seeing repeat questions). It doesn't appear to be a consistent problem though, so the likelier explanation is some minor software incompatibility or users who tried to use the software in unintended ways.
