Hi sukanyar,

I've read some posts from users who have found 'bugs' in the software (which did lead to seeing repeat questions). It doesn't appear to be a consistent problem though, so the likelier explanation is some minor software incompatibility or users who tried to use the software in unintended ways.

I will only provide you with my personal experiences.....

I took the Veritas Prep Course and found the tests to be an accurate representation of my score.

Veritas CAT 1 - 590
Veritas CAT 2 - 590

What Veritas fails to do is to provide in depth analysis of your scores, pacing, areas of focus, etc. Good measuring stick.

I purchased 1 Book from Manhattan GMAT - 1 Book gives you access to 6 tests. (1 Book = $25 vs 6 Test = $49)

These were were more accurate at predicting my future score than the Veritas Prep.

Manhattan GMAT Prep

MGMAT CAT 1 - 620
MGMAT CAT 2 - 620
MGMAT CAT 1 - 590
MGMAT CAT 1 - 630

What I love of MGMAT and what I wish I knew sooner, was that they do analysis on your reports. They can do the analysis by test, by all test, or any tests that you chose. Perhaps you had a bad day and don't want to include that report. The report goes on to show you timing, percentages, and links you back to your actual questions answered incorrectly.

I do know of the others but these are my experiences for both of these.

My GMATPrep Test scores were:

1 - 590
2- 610

Definitely invest and do anything made from GMAC.

Official GMAT Score: 640

Hope this helps!

Hi All,

GMAC has publicly stated that your Official Score on Test Day is within about +-30 points of actual ability. Assuming a similar "swing" in the GMAC CATs and the CATs offered by GMAT Companies, all of the scores listed by itsmedavidv fall in range of one another. Thus, with this example, it's difficult to say for sure if any specific set of CATs was more or less accurate than any other.

I am confused, my Veritas scores were -50. Unless you are saying that the -30 is doubled since Veritas also has a -30 swing. i.e. Veritas Swing (-30) + GMAC Swing (-30).

Hi itsmedavidv,

All of your scores (including your Official GMAT score) are within +- 30 points of 610. Thus, your performances didn't vary as much as you might think they did - you could have been at the "lower end" of your range when you scored 590 and at the "higher end" of your range when you scored 640.

Hi,

I wanted to give mock tests for GMAT.
I have already given GMAT prep two mock tests along with manhattan and kaplan free mock test.

Can anyone suggest me some other mock tests that are computer adaptive.
Also, i was planning to buy mock tests of GMAT PREP , will they be helpful ?

Please suggest.
Thanks

Besides the GMATPrep tests, you can also take a free practice test at GMAT PILL with this link: https://www.gmatpill.com/gmat-practice-t ... ctice-test

Here's a screenshot of what your performance analytics might look like after the test - some useful information:

Hi TKap,

"GMAT Focus Edition" was a temporary name for the latest (current) version of the GMAT. It can be a bit confusing, but the current GMAT (which used to be called "GMAT Focus Edition") is just "GMAT" now. All the products you see on the mba.com store are for the current GMAT.
