the eq is mx + ky > kx + my...
mx - kx > my-ky...
(m-k)x >(m-k)y Here its easy to fall in trap by cancelling out m-k from both sides and consider statement 2 sufficient
here we cannot cancel out m-k on both sides but have to take it on one side..
so (m-k)x -(m-k)y >0... (m-k)(x-y)>0....
for this eq to be true either m>k and x>y OR k>m and y>x..
lets look at the statements..
(1) @m > k.. not sufficient alone
(2) x > y.. not sufficient alone
combined sufficient .. ans C...
