Hi!
After preparing a lot, I could manage only 640, Quant-48, Verbal-30. I need to score 700+ because other factors in my application such as GPA(which is low), work experience which is only about 3 years and that to in a non-managerial position. The major problem in the verbal section was speed and consecutive mistakes towards the end. For me the problem area is RC.
I have practiced from LSAT content, but I feel that the GMAT questions are a bit different and need different skills.
Please help me as to how I can score 700+.

Before I can offer you the specific advice that you’re looking for, it would help if you could provide a bit more information on how you've been studying and your goals:
Studies:
1) How long have you studied?
2) What materials have you used?
3) How have you scored on each of your CATs (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores)?
4) Was that 640 on the Official GMAT or a CAT?
Goals:
5) When are you planning to take the GMAT?
6) When are you planning to apply to Business School?
7) What Schools are you planning to apply to?

I’d be happy to provide some advice on how to raise your GMAT score from a 640 to a 700+. However, before doing so, it would be helpful to learn some more about your GMAT experience and MBA goals. I have a few questions:
1) Did you get your enhanced score report? If not, could you do so and share the score breakdown from your GMAT?
2) Have you taken any official MBA.com exams? If so, what are the score breakdowns of those exams? When you took the practice tests, did you take them under realistic conditions (e.g. in a quiet environment, no extended breaks)?
3) What is your study routine? For how many hours a day have you been studying and for how many total months?
4) For how many hours a day and for how many total months can you study for your retake?
5) What deadlines are you targeting?
Once you provide that information, I can give you some more tailored advice.
