If it takes Patrick 4 hours to paint a room, how long did it take Patrick and Roger working together?

Answer is A
The productivity of Patrick is 1/4 of the room per hour
(A) If Roger paint it twice as long to paint then I will we need 8 hours => His productivity is 1/8
Together the productivity is 1/4 + 1/8 = 3/8
Therefore, it will take 3/8 * X(number of hours) = 1 => X = 8/3 = 2 hours and 40 minutes to complete
(B) Give no informations on Roger and we already know that he takes 4 hours.
