There are several people who got the jobs without mandarin or cantonese.
However it all depends on your background and industry you are trying to target.
Due to the f*ed situation in finance industry even a lot of Chinese students still looking for FT positions.
But we also have several foreign students who got jobs with multinationals without even knowing how to say nihao
