In a class 60% of the students wear glasses and 50% of the students are of short height. If 10% of the students have neither short height nor wear glasses, how many students are there in the class?

(1) 15 students are of short height but do not wear glasses.

(2) 140 students have exactly one of the two effects.

The answer is D in the sense that both statement 1 and statement 2 give an answer, however this is an erroneous question because the statements contradict each other by giving different numbers for how many students are in the class. Statement 1 says there are 50 kids(.3T = 15) in the class while statement 2 says there are 200 kids in the class(.7T = 140). Check to make sure the given numbers are correct.
