Any line with a positive slope will pass through quadrant 3.

St.1 is sufficient as slope is positive.

St.2 is Insufficient as we cannot determine slope with one coordinate.

a) The slope of the line is sufficient to predict its inclination ( a positive slope implies it passes through Q1 & Q3.
hence A is sufficient
b) line passes through a point , no definite conclusion can be drawn about the line inclination
B not sufficient
