Congratulations and thanks for sharing!
P.S. If you can, please verify your score when it becomes available in a week or so (when your AWA is graded)
You can do that here: https://gmatclub.com/forum/ucp.php?i=280

What GMAT preparation materials did you use to achieve the awesome scores? What preparation materials did you use for the Verbal portion?

For quantitative, I was working off of the official guides question banks, and then MiguelMick's flash card powerpoint posted on here (unfortuantely I can't post links yet but hopefully it is easy to find!). I also did 5 of the 6 available official gmat prep exams.

For verbal, this one is tougher to quantify--I have been reading and writing a lot my entire life, so I contribute it primarily to that. Otherwise the only studying I did was a handful of questions from the official guide and the questions on the gmat prep exams.

Best of luck!!

Thanks a ton for responding to my PM for attaching ESR on forum.

On a purely selfish note ;) GMAT score is like salary incentive, we always expect more than we
get.

I was just imagining, would your score have shot the sky had you not faltered in last quarter of quant ?
I am also am so jealous to see that RC less than 2 mins when we non natives struggle for years to get them right even
beyond 4 mins.
Just kidding! Relish this moment and keep us updated on your future plans.

Wishing you all the best again!!

My pleasure, I'm always happy to help! To tell the truth, the ending of the quant section did sting a bit--I'm an obsessive double-checker and that chewed up my time enough on early problems that I had to guess for most of the questions in the last quarter, and as I was going through and quickly reading them I knew they were ones I could have solved, if I only had the time! But I'm resisting the urge to retake it (at least until after I have all my applications in).

I can't even imagine how difficult verbal must be for someone who is not a native speaker though, I have so much respect for those who just learn a second language, and to have to do a test like this on top of it :shocked

Thanks for your reply!

That's an amazing score, biotechapplicant! And yes, pretty much everything in that ESR is excellent. I really don't think you need to give the GMAC another $250 :-)

All the best for your applications!
