How effective is it to attend an MBA Fair? does it increase any chances of getting an admit irrespective of GMAT score or GMAT not taken yet or a low GPA? Is keeping in touch with the admissions committee good? Would appreciate live examples!

How effective is it to attend an MBA Fair? does it increase any chances of getting an admit irrespective of GMAT score or GMAT not taken yet or a low GPA? Is keeping in touch with the admissions committee good? Would appreciate live examples!

No personal experience. But from what I understand, just attending will not do your chances any good or harm. If you are able to demonstrate interest and have some sort of a meaningful impact then its good. Also, keeping in touch is something one can very easily overdo. So better to tread with some caution there.
