All highly successful salespersons are both well organized and self-motivated, characteristics absent from many salespersons both who are not highly successful. Further, although only those who are highly successful are well known among their peers, no salesperson who are self-motivated regret their career choices.

If all of the following are true, which one of the following must be true?

Lsat Qs are always a treat to mind. This one too is one. I believe the 'both' needs to be 'who' in the 1st sentence.

Breaking down the argument:

HS? --> Must be WO & SM ...........................................1
Not HS ---> Not (Must be WO & SM)...............................2
HS ---> WKP...............................................................3
SM salesperson ---> never regrets..................................4


C) No salespersons who are well known among their peers(HS) regret their career choices

HS are SM. And from 4 we know SM never regrets. So, C is correct.

IMO the question is testing the reverse logic

That among all the cases of Non highly successful people there is a case where people are self motivated and work oriented and are still not highly successful. This eliminates option A easily

Option C talks about people that are well known which means they are highly successful that means they are both self motivated and work oriented . Since they are self motivated they have no regrets

Although i got this right, i am still not exactly sure what is meant by " many salespersons both are not highly successful". Further, there a couple of places where the grammar if off again. Request the original poster to edit and post a clear concise version. Thanks

C may not be the right answer.
self motivated = no regret for career choice.
Now we need to establish the link b/n "well known among peers" & "self motivated". This can be done by establishing link b/n "self-motivation" & "successful salesperson".
But "self motivation" may not ensure successful salesperson(SP)
However, it is mentioned that all successful SP are self-motivated & the argument also says self motivation is absent in "MANY" unsuccessful SP, the argument doesn't say self-motivation is absent in all unsuccessful SP. There may still be self-motivated unsuccessful SPs.

Request to correct the grammatical errors in the question.

I wasn't able to get through few minor grammatical errors since correct form of sentences are gradually getting imbibed in me. Pardon me for pointing out these as this one is not a SC question.
