90 seniors - avg 83

Delta 83 and 84 is -1

Delta 90 seniors is -90
Delta 10 juniors should be +90

+90/10juniors=9

Avg 84+9=93 (answer)

Weightage Method

There are two quantities, 83 & X of which weighted average is taken and the output is 84.

Weight associated with senor's average 83 is 0.9, and that with juniors is 0.1.
Therefore
\(\\
83 * 0.9 + X * 0.1 = 84\\
74.7 + 0.1 X = 84\\
0.1X=9.3\\
X=93\\
\)
