IMO its A since it shows that the amount of water is much less than 10%. Since with the latest technology, only exoplanets with more than 10% water can be identified, hence its very difficult to find an exoplanet that has as much water (much less than 10%) as earth.

It’s A because all the other choices are bad, but A should just say “less” instead of “much less.” We are told we can detect water on planets if the water is 10% or more of the mass and we can’t if it’s less than 10%. Not sure where this “much less” business comes in.

Hi, can anyone offer an explanation to why A is right?

It’s A because the prompt says we can only detect if a planet has water if water is 10% or more of its mass. Then, it says we can’t find a planet with Earth’s level of water until we get better sensors - meaning we can’t detect water on planets with as much water as Earth, meaning Earth has less than 10% of its mass is water.

Only A and E are close. E is wrong because the passage talks about technology and not specifically about telescope.
