Admitted to Kellogg and Booth. Hope below the info helps.

Kellogg: Applied June 10/Interviewed June 30/Admitted July 9 (checklist not cleared until July 8)
Booth: Applied July 1/Interviewed July 14/Admitted July 17/Scholarship offered July 20

GMAT: 760/IR 8, took once, online
WE: 4.5 years
Undergraduate: Engineering

congratulations eGMATtaker2020! That's a stunning profile. Would you mind sharing a little bit more your scholarship experience and amount? Thanks in advance!!

Sure. Actually I missed Booth's admittance call on July 17th so they emailed and asked me to call back if I have any questions. No scholarship decision was mentioned in that email. So I called on Monday July 20th and asked about the scholarship. They said it was a separate review process and would get back to me shortly.

I got follow-up call and email in less than one hour saying that I got $30,000. The scholarship letter was shown on my application page as well in the same day.

Congrats, eGMATtaker2020 , and great work on the Online GMAT! I was hoping for a similar score once I hit the submit button, but I clearly made some dumb errors on Quant that I didn't catch. I had heard that $30k was Booth's largest offer for merit-based scholarships, but up until now I hadn't seen anyone who was offered that, so congrats!

Whatever you decide to do, best of luck, and hopefully our paths will cross in the Fall!

Thank you! I decided to accept Booth's offer and give Kellogg's slot back to other people. Both schools are great but I like the flexibility and atmosphere at Booth better. GMAT is really tricky and doesn't tell much about a person - it reduces adcom's judgement cost in some cases though. I might be nothing but a test machine :shh:

Are you going to Booth this Autumn as well, Evening or Weekend? Look forward to "seeing" you and others soon!

Does it mean rejection at this point for anyone who hasn't heard anything back yet?

I'm going with that assumption...

So what’s the utility of August 7th, is it scheduled for sending the rejection emails only? ?

Considering some of their admits accepted other offers, like Booth, there are most certainly more admits coming (at a minimum for those spots). Be positive!

Lord if I know :)

As someone who was moved from the summer to the fall pool, my prospects likely get bleaker with each passing day...

"We've gotta keep our composure!" I think there are more admits coming likely this week and maybe next week as well. If I recall for the Summer Quarter there were still some admits in the final week before the deadline (albeit not as many as earlier).

I think that the Summer cohort was larger than what Kellogg normally takes in so that may be the case for the Fall Quarter as well.

For the folks that got moved from Summer to Fall - it is unfortunate that we are still waiting as we could have spent that time preparing other apps or preparing for the GMAT.

I got the acceptance call just now! They're still calling, I was losing hope yesterday, but you never know until the last minute. Hang in there for anyone who is still waiting.

That's amazing, congratulations! May I ask if you had originally applied for Fall and if you used the GMAT waiver?

That's awesome, congrats! Would you mind sharing your background? Did you use the GMAT waiver? I'm also curious if they are still predominantly accepting candidates with math/engineering backgrounds.
