I know Kellogg doesn't (might due to the reason that Kellogg has accelerated option where students can save $$), but Booth does offer scholarships for PT mba.

Did you get a full ride at Booth? I interviewed with Booth last week and still haven't heard anything. Guess I know my answer considering they are rolling admission...

I wish but I don't expect full-ride given my low GMAT. I was told over phone that they will offer me some $$ but the exact amount will be decided by next week.

Quick update for the speculation: yes, that was an acceptance call. I’m so excited to meet everyone and best wishes to everyone still waiting. I’m keeping everyone in my thoughts!

Congratulations! Is there a separate form you need to fill for scholarship?

You will be considered automatically as an applicant, no additional application is needed.

How are there already 40 admits when I was told that they were planning on making decisions by August 7? The last day to interview for fall was just yesterday. kudos to those who were admitted from the summer applicant pool, but this could be seen as unfair from the perspective of someone that is an applicant for fall as they are taking up seats for the fall admits when otherwise they would have needed to be a reapplicant. For those who asked for an expedited decision; you benefit from hearing a decision quicker by applying to multiple schools, which makes the other applicants have to wait in line and watch other people take up seats.

I’m a summer applicant and also know other summer applicants who have not heard anything back. So I don’t if that’s the majority of the admits. Also there have been people who applied for fall and have gotten admitted. So it’s hard to say how they are prioritizing.

So the August 7th date is the latest date as far as I know, it is rolling admission, at least somewhat. In the summer admission period there were also a lot of people who got the call earlier. It makes sense to spread out some of the resources. Apparently, they had a very high applicant number in summer, which contributed to their decision to leave a few good candidates in the pool. I don't think it is unfair for them to try and take only the best applicants. On the student side, you can also not blame anyone for taking the chance.

Yes, there is harsh competition now, but I don't think it is "unfair".

I got an email from Kellogg saying that my admissions decision is available on my status page, and of course I got dinged or else they would have called me as they have been doing for everyone else. I got the interview waiver, and following precedent, I was expecting a rejection anyway. Wishing everyone here the best of luck!
