Hey everyone!

I plan on trying for the CEMS MIM at WU, University in Vienna.
My GMAT is only 640, which is why I am asking whether anyone has any tips for the application or how high the score there usually is

If I may, what is the reason of selecting WU, I mean its a great university but its definitely not topping the charts, right?

Well for me the crucial factor is that their degree programme is mostly free, and I don't want to be indebted to anyone when finishing my studies. I come from a rather limited financial background.
Other than that, it being pretty central in Europe I like how easy moving between countries is & I also enjoy the selection of courses they offer.

I think 640 is good enough for MIM WU cems . Are you applying for round one?

Hi iregretdoinggmat,
Well, previous year's GMAT for Vinenna hovered around 630, so with a strong application you should have a shot.
Just focus on highlighting your goals in the essay. The below tips should give you some pointers:

Essay Question 1
Q1. “Why do you want to take the Master’s in International Management/CEMS at WU Vienna?”

Analysis

Masters in International management is an essential degree in the evolving corporate world. Talk about how pursuing it from a renowned business school like WU Vienna can add value to your profile and open new gates for you during your professional journey.
You need to explain why you are choosing this particular school as your first preference. Talk about the resources which they offer to their students in order to become global leaders.
