Not sure. Was there anything unusual about the recommendation? Did you write it yourself and recommender submitted it or did recommender use a personal email account? afaik the adcom can verify any part of your application at any time.
My recommenders were contacted by Re Vera before the decision notification for HBS.... Does this mean any good news? (I´ve already interviewed)

That's certainly a positive thing though we can only be sure on the decision day. There have been cases where members of admissions team from HBS and Stanford contact recommenders before the release of the decision to check the authenticity of the recommendations before they make the final offer, though this is more common in case of start-ups/entrepreneurship and family business background.
Is HBS the only program you’ve applied to? Have you been admitted anywhere else? Just curious as to whether the verification efforts could have been initiated by another school.
