Take: \(3^7[\)(\(3^{−4}\)+\(3^{−5}\))+(\(3^{−5}\)+\(3^{−6}\))+(\(3^{−6}\)+\(3^{−7}\)) –\(3^{−7}\) ]
Expand to get: \(3^3 + 3^2 + 3^2 + 3^1 + 3^1 + 1 - 1\)
Evaluate: \(27 + 9 + 9 + 3 + 3 + 1 - 1\)
Evaluate: \(51\)
Since \(51 = (3)(17)\), the correct answer is C

We can simplify the equation.
3^7 [3^-4 + 2(3^-5) + 2(3^-6) ]
Note that +3^-7 and -3^-7 are cancelled in the above simplification.
Take 3^-4 as common multiple.
3^7 [3^-4 {1 + 2(3^-1) + 2(3^-2)}]
3^3 ( 1 + 2/3 + 2/9)
We get 3^3 since 3^7 (3^-4) = 3^3
3^3 (17/9)
3 (17)
Thus the multiple is 3.
