Looking for creative ways to study Critical Reasoning

Question

So far, I have been solving CR qeustions very mechanically. Read facts, find conclusion, read argument, and then find right answer. However, In the process, I have developed a taste for Quality CR questions and would like to make a game out of it.

I'm not 100 percent clear regarding what you mean by "make a game out of it," but one way you can gamify your CR work is by shooting for streaks.

You can see how many you can get correct in a row.

You can see how many of each type you can get correct in a row.

Shooting for streaks is fun and is a great way to prepare for the GMAT, because, in shooting for streaks, you are shooting for consistently accurate execution, and because the GMAT rewards streaks of correct answers, and so, by shooting for streaks, you are training to do what the GMAT rewards.

Topic by topic work in quant, a lot of careful analysis of verbal questions, taking 15 to 20 practice tests, and use of inner work to tune my mind and spirit for performance.

MartyTargetTestPrep : Do you have some tips on how to analyze incorrect questions from those streaks and revise the same so that the learning sticks? I'm generally motivated to do the streaks but tend to start losing discipline ,focus and even patience once I start analyzing the errors made.

Maybe if in reviewing you focus on a couple of key things, you'll find that reviewing the questions you didn't get is less of a chore.

The two key things are "What did I need to see to get this question correct?" and "What did I need to do differently in order to get this question correct?"

Also, let your desire to achieve longer streaks motivate you to figure out what you have to see and do in order to achieve those longer streaks.
