rtbs15 having in mind that I am 100% sure to do the MBA at Stanford , if Hec offers the dual degree at Yale , you think that Insead is still the better option ?

I'd say it depends on whether you care about money and getting into north of $300k in tuition + living expenses + 4 years of foregoing income, and whether you are using the degrees to run a family business or to pivot your career into something else.

- If you don't care about money do whatever you like
- If you care about money and want to run a family business do one of the two degrees. I'd suggest MiM cause you can transition faster into the business (assuming they let you). If you want to do both, do the shorter, cheaper MiM and save that sweet cash for MBAs ever rising fees
- If you care about money and want to pivot into other industry outside family business you should do INSEAD (lower duration, more WE for MBA application), unless you want to work in the US, then do HEC/Yale

Hope it helps.

I think you need to decide what you want out of further education. If you are just going to learn how to manage a family business, then don’t get an MBA in the US and start working at that family business in some capacity. You don’t need to go to any school if you’re gonna manage your family business. If you’re going to pivot your career, you need to figure out what you want to do and why you’re 100% sure you’ll get into Stanford in 3/4 years with two overlapping masters degrees and one year of dentist experience.

If you’re absolutely sure you’re going to get your mba at Stanford in 3/4 years, then don’t do any degree right now and keep working so you can have some actual years of experience before applying. Don’t worry about MiM degrees if you’re getting an mba in a couple years.

Seems like you need to think a little more about what you want to do and why you want to get more degrees before making any decisions.
