If my understanding is correct, Option A is wrong because it uses " to be" . However, in option B, I am confused about use of singular form of "Platform" because it is referring to TVs which is plural.
Please confirm why the Option B is correct answer.

B. considered the best platform for graphic-intensive needs such as the display of- LCDs can be grouped together as representing one medium for display
C. considered the best of display platforms for those uses that are as graphic-intensive as- little awkward and redundant
D. considered as the best of display platforms for graphic-intensive- does not compare properly
E. considered to be the best platform for displaying graphic-intensive things such as- sam issue as A

A. considered to be the best display platforms for such graphic-intensive uses as The superlative form "best" requires the usage of singular noun. Only one "platform" can be "the best", since "platform" refers to all LCD TVs taken together, and not individually. Eliminate.

B. considered the best platform for graphic-intensive needs such as the display of Correct answer. Above error is corrected and no new errors are introduced.

C. considered the best of display platforms for those uses that are as graphic-intensive as Two issues - "best of display platforms" and "those uses that are as graphic-intensive as" are both unnecessarily wordy and complex; "best display platform" and "graphic intensive uses" would suffice, especially given the presence of the concise option (B). Eliminate.

D. considered as the best of display platforms for graphic-intensive Changes the meaning of the original sentence. The video games are an example of "graphic intensive uses" that LCD TVs are best for, not "graphic-intensive video games" themselves only. Eliminate.

E. considered to be the best platform for displaying graphic-intensive things such as "considered to be" is incorrect. "Considered X" is the correct usage. This error is present in (A) as well, but I chose to focus on other errors as idiom errors are unreliable at times. Eliminate.

In option B: statement "for graphic-intensive needs such as the display of" implies that TV is capable of doing various other graphic intensive job.
