Hi,
I am 32 years old.
I have done MS in Mechanical Engineering from University at Buffalo(SUNY) in 2014.
But I do not have any work experience apart from some research assistance at UB and some local coaching institutes in India.
I have co-authored 4 research papers (3 journal and 1 conference), last being in 2014.
I am planning to apply for PhD in financial management, strategic management or operations management.
What should be the ideal GMAT score if I want to get into a reputed MBA or PhD in management program with tuition fee waiver or partial funding?

I am no expert. But if you really want to get into one of the best colleges your GMAT score is one of the important factors. Other factors also do play a very important part in it. But answering you question I feel 730+ should do !.

How much weight do the B-Schools assign to Work Experience?
I am concerned about only with this issue.
Because at 32 and practically unemployed for 6 years (barring freelancing works and part time teaching) is very hard to explain to anyone.
I fear even 750 won't be enough.
Please guide me on this.
