Hi
gmatfan5,
Several of my students have gotten admitted to Kellogg 1Y program. It is indeed a good option, if you have a previous business degree and you are okay skipping the internship and going for full-time recruitment.
I went through a 2-year MBA at Univ. of Michigan and it worked great for me because I was an international student and the internship and many other experiential learning opportunities really helped me build experience and profile for career options in the US. But if you are already working in the US and looking for MBA for career advancement, one-year it is a solid option. All my students have given pretty good feedback about the Kellogg 1Y program.
If you need help with your application, feel free to get in touch

Good luck!

I am considering applying to the one-year program since I already have an undergraduate business degree and it would obviously save me lots of time and money. However, I want to make sure that by doing so, I am not going to be getting a radically different experience than the full time students, obviously knowing my program would be half as long. Said differently, are One-Year MBA students viewed as more Executive MBA type students from a cultural perspective, and not given the same opportunities in clubs/networking groups/etc., or are they able to easily mix/build relationships with the two-years and take full advantage of their time at Kellogg?
