Let's solve the problem using two methods.

Method 1: Testing answer choices.

Let's try with the biggest number as we need to find the greatest possible value

E. 110

110 when divided by 7 gives 5 remainder which is correct.
110 when divided by 13 gives 6 remainder which is correct.
=> 110 is the solution

Method 2: Algebra

When m is divided by 7, the remainder is 5.

Dividend = Divisor * Quotient + Remainder

m = 7*a + 5 (where a is an integer) = 7a + 5 ...(1)

When m is divided by 13, the remainder is 6.

m = 13*b + 6 (where b is an integer) = 13b + 6 ...(2)

If 1 < m < 200, what is the greatest possible value of m?

From (1) and (2) 12 get

m = 7a + 5 = 13b + 6
=> a = \(\frac{13b + 1}{7}\)

Only those values of b which will also make a an integer will give us the possible values of m

=> b = 1, 8 will give us integer values for a
=> b=1, = 13*1 + 6 = 19
=> b=8, = 13*8 + 6 = 110

So, Answer will be E
Hope it helps!
