Hi and welcome back!

These days GMAT = GRE and most schools in the US and Europe are not picky.
There are a few programs that are also offering test waivers (meaning you don't have to take the test at all) but that benefits mostly with strong profile. If your profile is not great and you are behind on the career side of things, you probably want to get a score and score high.

Keep in mind, you will be 33 when you matriculate and that's starting to approach tricky age for the US schools. Europe and Asia are generally fine. Starting, it is not terminal age but just FYI. https://gmatclub.com/forum/old-for-an-mba-352223.html

Oh that’s informative and disappointing too. I am just really thinking now whether to go for it or not. I was so stupid to not do this while I was younger. :(

if preparing for such an exam and planning to study further is a good decision at my age.
Age of 32 is definitely not over the hill. I was almost your age, when I started my GMAT preparation.

As an instructor, I have worked with several students & applicants your age, who have successfully embarked upon their MBA journey.

Honestly I am doing this to grow my career. If I already had a great career why would I even attempt to give exams and study further. Not everyone has an amazing career, but they can still try to make it better with some skill addiction or degree addition.

I am not sure what my chances are, they do look slim at my age.

Hi N19,

Since you are already familiar with the GMAT, I don't see any reason not to take the GMAT again. Regarding how to move forward, here is a great article to help you get started:
