The chart above shows the frequency distribution of 4- to 8-axle and commercial vehicles at different times during a weekday. All vehicles that did not have 4-8 axles have 2 axles.
Use the drop-down menus to fill in the blanks in each of the following statements based on the information given by the graph.
1. Of the total vehicles going through the tunnel from 7am to 10am, 410 were commercial vehicles with 4-8 axles and 212 were non-commercial vehicles with 2 axles.
2. There was approximately percent more commercial vehicle traffic from midnight to 5am than there was from 5am to 7am.

From the question: C4 = 410, N2 = 212
At 7am - 10am: N4 + C4 = 543, C2 + C4 = 436
As C4 is known, N4 and C2 are calculable.
Hence total of C2 + C4 + N2 + N4 = 781 (A)

Let C be commercial and NC be non-commercial vehicles,
1. Of the 781 total vehicles going through the tunnel from 7am to 10am, 410 were commercial vehicles with 4-8 axles and 212 were non-commercial vehicles with 2 axles.
Commercial Vehicles:
Midnight to 5 am => 875
5 am to 7 am => 652
Increase = (875-652)/652 = 34%
2. There was approximately 34 percent more commercial vehicle traffic from midnight to 5am than there was from 5am to 7am.
I got confused with the framing of the second statement, like was it asking for commercial traffic percentage increase or raw number increase, but because it wasn't possible to calculate percentage increase due to missing information, I tried to solve for the increase in the number of commercial vehicles and luckily, it worked.
