It seems like this year is the quietest of all past years for applicants to this program. Where is everyone? Did anyone submit for todays R1 deadline? Best of luck! I just sent in my application and now in the waiting window! I've seen some info about what an interview might look like but the source of information seems all over the board. What exactly is this Data Visualization topic that keeps being mentioned? The class was large last year, has anyone connected with current students to learn about the dynamic on campus? It seems interview calls may come as early as Oct 22? Excited for the opportunity to meet and hear everyone's story.

Does anyone know if you can submit apps to both the R2 SFMBA and the R1 Sloan EMBA? The decision date for the SFMBA is unfortunately a month after the R1 EMBA deadline.
I'd consider myself a fit for either program and would like to take my chances with both.

You should be able to submit the applications for multiple programs, I think there is no restriction. I think if you are selected for the R1 EMBA, it is good to discuss with the school your intention, but let's say if you have to give the final decision for EMBA before the SFMBA R2 result then it is a difficult decision you need to make

When will the R1 results be shared for MIT SF MBA? Do they call or is it notified on email? Is it a particular time of the day results are shared or it varies by region? I know its too many questions - it will be really helpful if someone can guide in this forum. Thanks in advance!

I believe MIT will send email. MIT has been most consistent in its way of working. They sent email for interview invite or email for rejection so I believe that it will send email for result out too.
