hi there, what does further consideration actually mean?

Does that mean we will only be considered for interview after they are done with the rest of the interviews?

We are strong applicant but they need to see what is going on in round 2 to assess if it makes sense for us to be part of the class

Anyone has a consultant that could help us to understand our odds?

Same here.

Wonder what we can do in just 2 months! I have a 730 on GMAT but I don’t want to re-attempt that. :(

In some forums, it says around 100-150 applicants are placed on this stage every year.

Hello. I was also placed on the waitlist. I saw the same that around 100-150 applicants are placed on the waitlist

I also don’t want to retake the GMAT... I got a 710, too. If that makes you feel better.

At least we did not get dinged, so that’s a positive

I heard that schools won't accept any new materials due to fairness, unless fact based update such as promotion / change in job, etc.

I think here it’s slightly different - they ask for a 400 words essay and the round is different in nature too.

A few folks I talked to luckily had promotions between this time so they highlighted that. I was promoted in Jul ’21 and have written about that already so not sure what to cover.

Does anyone know what the prompt of the update essay is? Do they specifically ask about what happened between Jul & Dec? Or in general any update we’d want to share? Also what’s the word limit ?

And yes, timelines of submission - is it end of Nov or early Dec?

Hey folks, we all received the further update email yesterday. One clarification question - point 3 states that they will NOT consider additional letters from third parties - is this a new introduction?

some applicants had recommended that they had done this earlier

Hmmm I heard that the school already has a ranking for all the further consideration applicants

Although it is not disclosed

So this update is mainly for some information updates due to fairness and probably won’t affect much actually. If there is no important updates it’s fine not to update. Any thoughts are appreciated as well
