GMAC announced a free upgrade to Official Practice!
The announcement was made this morning by GMAC. They sent out emails to users explaining all the new features. These features will be available from November 2022. See the two new features below:
1. New: Enriched experience with study, goal, and performance tracking
2. New: Structured study plan to help you strategize & focus your prep
You will be able to use the existing platform until early 2022 (The exact date is not mentioned). Most importantly, all your progress will not be transferred to the new platform. So do take notes/screenshots if you are planning to use official practice beyond early 2022.
Takeaway: Check your emails in November for a voucher code to upgrade to the new Official Practice.

IMO not much of a change as it would be similar to what most of the test prep companies provide i.e. a study tracker , study plan etc.. , instead it would have been better if GMAC would have released a question pack of retired official questions

Yes Archit3110, I agree. However, Official Practice is a great tool for GMAT test retakers. Especially for users like me who have exhausted their official practice exams and OG. It also helps to keep a check on timing and difficulty level and maintaining automatic error log.
So this definitely has a purpose. But yes retired questions would also help people to explore additional questions.
