area of circle = pi * \(r^2\) = \(9\pi\) ==> r = 3

Area of right triangle =\(\frac{ 1}{2}\) * r * r = 4.5

Given, area of circle = 9 Pi
Or, Pi r^2 = 9 Pi
Or, r = 3

Therefore area of triangle = (1/2) x 3 x 3 = 4.5

Area of circle = Pi x r x r
Find r from the above equation: r = 3

Area of the triangle = (1/2) x base x height = (1/2) x radius x radius = (1/2) x 3 x 3 = 4.5

So, the answer is 4.5.

Also, if anyone can help, I am having trouble posting explanations - it just says "You are posting a very short post and it will most likely be deleted within the next 24 hours. Please consider making it more valuable/substantial so that it contributes to the discussion of the particular question." I believe this is the most value that I can add; I want to post a short to the point explanation.
