Okay, so I finally got a full refund a couple of days ago!!!
It took me writing 15-20 e-mails, 3 nearly endless chats with the Examity support, 3 phone calls and even escalating my issue to one of GMAC‘s CXOs myself, but in the end, it worked out.
Unfortunately I can‘t tell whether they did their homework and found out that I really have a right for a refund or if I just got on their nerves for long enough.
If anyone has the same issue, you can let me know and I will try to help…
Let me add two more points that made my testing experience perfectly horrible:
My exam started with a proctor who had a broken mic and blamed my speakers for this issue. After restarting my notebook and spending 20 minutes telling the proctor that my speakers are working, the proctor just left and another one with a perfectly fine working mic showed up.
After finishing my exam, the proctor took control of my notebook and accidentally closed my score report that just showed up for a second. Consequently, I had no chance to have a look at my unofficial scores and had to wait until the official scores were released. Guess what: According to Examity, this did not happen and even if it did, it was my fault.
Considering that I took the GMAT not because it was mandatory for my uni but to slightly increase my chances to get accepted, I totally regret all this hassle.
