Hi aryamaagarwal,
I'm sorry to hear that Test Day didn't go as well as planned. The technical delays that you had during the Exam almost certainly did impact your overall mindset (and may have thrown-off your performance a bit, but we have to be mindful that there were likely other factors besides that one issue that led to these results). When these types of score drops occur, the two likely "causes" involve either something that was unrealistic during practice or something that was surprising (or not accounted for) on Test Day. Before we discuss any of those potential issues though, it would help if you could provide a bit more information on how you've been studying and your goals:
Studies:
1) How long have you studied? How many hours do you typically study each week?
2) What study materials have you used so far? What “brands” of CATs/mocks have you used?
3) You listed 4 CAT/mock results, but were there any others? On what dates (or approximate dates) did you take EACH of your CATs/mocks and how did you score on EACH (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores for EACH)?
Goals:
4) What is your overall goal score?
5) What Schools are you planning to apply to and what specific application deadlines are you facing?

Studies:
1) I studied for a while from February to April (approx 5 hrs per week). Then from mid June, I dedicated most of my time to gmat preparation.
2) I have used Manhattan guides, official guide, gone through the free trial materials of e-gmat and
gmat whiz and solved many high quality questions at gmatcub. I have given 4 official mock tests, 1
mgmat mock test, 1 gmatclub mock test
3) 13th March Practice test 1: 590 (Q 47, V 23)
4th July Gmatclub CAT 660(Q 49, V31)
13th July Practice test 2: 600 (Q 47, V 23)
16th July Gmatclub CAT V24
17th July Gmatclub CAT V24
Till here, I was really struggling with verbal. I then changed my method and started looking at the video content available at e-gmat and
gmatwhiz. I made better notes and got a better understanding of various question types. I did not give mock tests for a while.
I then reset the 1st official practice mock and scored 670 (Q 50, V31). Though some questions of Q were repeated, I did not find the V questions repeated as I had given the 1st mock a long time back and had forgotten most of the questions.
19th August Practice test 3: 720 (Q 50, V 37)
22nd August Practice test 4: 700 (Q 51, V 33)
Today, 31st August
Experts' global mock test: 700 (Q 48, V 37)
Today while I did my mock test, I felt so different while doing the verbal section. This was the 1st time I changed my sectional order to Verbal followed by Quant. I was able to finish all the V questions for the 1st time. It is very surprising for me but I was never able to finish V without skipping some questions in between. Not very sure if V followed by Q helped or I was just more relaxed. Still trying to figure out what order to follow.
Goals:
4) 690-720
5) R1 MIM, ESSEC, ESCP, Bocconi (Indian female, non traditional background)
