Forgot to send online GMAT score to 5 schools

Question

Hi everyone,

Recently, i had appeared for an online GMAT, and later after when the scores were published i forgot to report the score to 5 school for free

Is there any way, i can do it for free now??

Well… unfortunately there is since Jan of this year. That was the original policy but it got changed 😢

Hi. The is only one way to order your score reports and that is through the mba.com.

They give you 48 hours after you get the score or after the test to send your free scores to schools. You can try right now and perhaps the system will let you do it but if it asks you to pay, that’s the only option I can see. 😬 I assumed you tried already?

Hi bb Yes, I tried that and was disappointed

Later when I reached out to them via e-mail , they allowed me to send scores to school for another 48hrs

I opted for test centre based GMAT on 25th Jan , My university deadline is 31st Jan for getting offcial GMAT score .

How much time taken by GMAC to send offcial score to universities ?

Just like IELTS ,Can we use free 5 universities service post exam too ? Or Is it compulsory to give university name before test for free ?

The GMAT in-person only sends the 5 schools you choose before the exam starts.

"Sending Your Score to Up to Five Schools (for Free)
 Exams Taken at a Test Center: To send your free Official Score Report for exams taken at a test center, you must select your programs at the test center prior to the start of your exam. At the start of the exam there will be a screen displayed that allows you to select up to five programs. Once you have made your program selections, they cannot be changed. If you accept your score at the test center, or reinstate it later, your score will automatically be sent to the programs you selected. " -mba website

My GMAT in-person at Test center is scheduled on 25th Jan 2023 ,Before exam I will fill my 5 free universities.

If I accept the score , How many days  GMAC would take to send score officially to university ?

It doesn’t really matter how long it will take to send the score to the University because that’s not something the University runs to check immediately after you submit your application. They’ll probably wait to confirm your scores for weeks.

almost always , you can take your test the day before the deadline.

So while the timing does not matter, to still answer your question, it will take a couple weeks for them to grade your essay and at that point your score will be reportable and available for business schools to access in the online database within 48 hours.

I wish life is sorted like you But as per my university requirement they need to get Official score of GMAT before 1st Feb 2023 12 am .

That's why I am concern with  How many days  GMAC takes ?
