Can someone explain this..
Cost per flight to any region is the same, so it is better to eliminate those who bring less revenue for question A
For question B, since regional brings the lowest revenue that actually is the costliest flight and cheapest for the airline is KSA, so 2:28.
Gmat won’t ever let you think straight, this is something I’m convinced.

Of all the pies baked in a certain bakery, 1/2 are apple pies, 1/7 are cherry pies, 1/4 are pecan pies, and the rest are coconut cream pies. If the combined number of pecan pies and coconut cream pies is 40, how many pies total did the bakery bake?

A. 56
B. 84
C. 91
D. 105
E. 112

Can anyone provide solution please

These are all ratios. One way of answering this is to assume the total number as x

Then ,
1/4*x + (1-1/2-1/7-1/4)*x = 40 and solve for x.

Say there are 28x total pies. 14x = apple pies, 4x = cherry pies, 7x = pecan and 3x is coconut.
now the equation says
7x + 3x = 40

It’s equidistant so we have to divide it. A number equidistant from 1 and 5 would be 3
   1  ...  351   352   353   354   355  ...  680
