We agree with the previous post. Make this third attempt your last hurrah. Just go in with the idea that you have nothing to lose. You're right - time is off the essence - but theoretically the only time you should be spending here is the actual exam.

In the interim, continue on with your applications so this is just a data point (hopefully an improved one!) and you aren't sacrificing precious time on your R2 applications.

If you don't improve on this third attempt, submit both of the first two exam results and let the school decide what they deem "better" for you and them. The similar performances indicate effectively the same thing about your competencies in this regard.

Good luck,

Retook the exam today and got GMAT 720 (Q47/V41/IR6). Verbal slightly improved but quant deteriorated (got a lot of tricky theory questions). Which ones should I report to schools?
1. GMAT 710 (Q50/V35/IR7/AWA6)
2. GMAT 720 (Q49/V40/IR4/AWA6)
3. GMAT 720 (Q47/V41/IR6/AWA6)

Why not report test #1 and test #3 unless overly burdensome from a cost standpoint? That will show the impressive 50 Q while also demonstrating perseverance on the verbal section to increase your overall score.
