Feel free to post a screenshot of your ESR on the forum. There may be some additional feedback you can leverage. Safer to wipe away any personal info from it first. You can also check your previous mock and/or error-log for data about the types questions you may usually find wrong or tough.

Two CR tips.

Hi GmatTutorKnight,
Please find ESR attached.

1. My exam started with Data Sufficiency, which threw me off because I feel like DS can unpredictable as sometimes there are combinations/ values that can be missed, resulting in wrong ans.

2. In the middle of the Verbal my brain kinda stopped focusing and I started using shortcuts more often without understanding the structure,. This could be due to lack of sleep (slept only 3 hrs night before)- I learnt the hard way that 8AM isn’t the best time to give the exam.

After doing lots of DS questions from Manhattan, OG and gmat club, I still feel like that territory is still gets me confused because of uncertainty. I am unable to reduce my time in DS , especially in number theory and sets where there are undefined variables.

Any input is much much appreciated.

Thank you!

Hi TheWrongGrammer.

Here's how GMAC describes Construction/Plan questions.

Problems identified in this category test your ability to use the information given in a passage to construct a plan of action for find the best logical solution.

So, these questions generally involve some kind of plan or way of going about solving something.

There are no tags for them on GMAT Club. These questions can appear in different forms, such as Assumption or Strengthen questions.

You could just work on CR in general to get better at answering these questions, or you could look for CR questions that involve plans or solutions to problems and practice answering them.

For some insights into how to master CR, see this video.
