Sentence: The Bechdel test, a measure of the representation of women in movies that was developed by Alison Bechdel, stipulates that a film must feature at least two named female characters who talk to each other about a topic unrelated to a man.
Isn't this sentence incorrect? The sentence refers to the Bechdel test as "a measure of the representation of women in movies," when it is more accurate to say that the Bechdel test is a tool used to evaluate the representation of women in movies, and the result of the test is the measure of that representation.
Target Test Prep (TTP) says this is correct - seems wrong to me?
