I'm eager to share my GMAT experience and the recent achievement of a score of 750 (V44, Q49) on my third attempt.
My Journey:My path to reaching a 750 wasn't easy. In my first GMAT try, I scored 690. I realized that while I was strong in Quantitative skills, my performance in Critical Reasoning (CR) and Sentence Correction (SC) needed work. That's when I decided to seek guidance from
ParamjitDasGMAT a decision I'm incredibly grateful for.
Preparation Steps:Under Param Sir's guidance, I quickly learned that relying on shortcuts and tricks wouldn't be sufficient to break the 700 barrier. I needed a deep understanding of the underlying concepts. So, I shifted my focus from seeking quick tips and tricks to building a solid knowledge foundation.
In my second GMAT attempt, I achieved a score of 710, showing that I had developed a strong grasp of fundamental concepts. However, I still needed to improve my question-solving skills and mock exam performance. That's when I opted for one-on-one classes with
ParamjitDasGMAT. He helped me refine my approach to handling questions, emphasising the importance of using concepts to eliminate answer choices rather than guessing.
In my third and final GMAT attempt, I had done everything I could to prepare, including solving over 100 GMAT club questions, attempting 20+ Mocks on various platforms, and discussing numerous doubts with Param Sir through chats and live sessions. This time, I entered the exam with a sense of satisfaction, knowing I had given my all. When I saw the result on the screen after the exam, it was an indescribable feeling. This success came after months of preparation, setbacks, and tremendous hard work. I can't thank
ParamjitDasGMAT enough for his guidance, support, and motivation.
Closing Thoughts:1.GMAT success requires balanced and consistent preparation. Regular practice is crucial.
2.GMAT is about approach and planning. Having a well-thought-out plan and sticking to it is essential.
3.There are no shortcuts to success. Doing things the right way is crucial.
The GMAT is a test that, with the right mindset, guidance, and preparation, anyone can conquer. I wish you the best of luck in your GMAT journey.
