Hi everyone! Hope you are doing great.
I need help regarding my study plan. I am from Argentina and will start preparing for GMAT Focus next week. I have no rush since I have no exam date and will only sign up for the exam once I am fully prepared.
I have several OG guides (current gmat) from past years, and some of the Manhattan guides for each topic, but I have no genuine GFE material. I am very determined and organized, and I want to make a weekly plan / schedule to stick to, and prepare in that way.
My questions are:
- Do I need to buy an online course or I can prepare on my own? (courses are very expensive for people here in Argentina, but I am willing to take one if they are necessary).
- How should I schedule my time? I have between 18-20 hours/week, divided into 6 days. Should I tackle for example Quant first, then Verbal and finish with DI? Or I should be preparing the 3 at the same time, alternating weeks?
- Do I need to buy more material? OG guides/official exams?

Hi,
OG (old versions), Manhattan guides are a good place to start.
Refer to GMATNinja videos for Verbal (RC&CR)
I would recommend splitting your time in the beginning between Quant & Verbal at 70:30
Definitely keep DI last since both your verbal & Quant skills needs to be applied there.
I'd recommend honing your basics using OG & other free resources available, lets say for 1-2 weeks and give the free official Mock-1 from mba.com
Depending on your score there you can decide if you want to enroll in courses or crack the GMAT with self prep.
