The advertisement emphasizes the ideal teacher's ability to:

1. Uphold academic integrity & impart virtue of knowledge
2. Train students to understand ... & succeed in changing society
3. Connect with students
4. Win the hearts of students, faculty member, staff

---

Must fulfill
Possess a pleasant disposition in order to easily connect with those he/she is associated with

This aligns with the requirement to connect with students and win the hearts of others.

Must not fulfill:
Should value only academic development

The advertisement clearly states that the ideal teacher should prepare students for "holistic personal development," implying a balance between academic and personal growth

Because column 2 is asking for something that would disqualify a candidate if they did have it.

Option C says the candidate “should have dealt with his or her own emotional challenges as a student earlier.” Even if a candidate HAS done that, it does not conflict with anything in the ad. It would not make them less able to connect with students or guide them. So it cannot be a “must NOT be fulfilled” requirement.

In other words, C might be helpful, but it is not a disqualifier.

Think of it like a job application:
  • "Must be fulfilled" = The job posting explicitly asks for this
  • "Must NOT be fulfilled" = The job posting explicitly says "we DON'T want this"
  • "Not mentioned" = The job posting doesn't care either way

Option C (teacher dealt with own emotional challenges) → The passage simply doesn't mention this. It's like a job posting that doesn't mention whether you need to own a car. It's not required, but it's also not forbidden.

Option B (value ONLY academic) → The passage explicitly wants "holistic development" AND "emotional support." Saying "only academic" directly contradicts this. This IS forbidden.

Bottom line: "Silence" ≠ "Forbidden." You need actual contradiction.
