Kiran, I think you might be in better shape than it might seem. As you know, the GMAT seems to hit you pretty hard for omitting a question now, so it's reasonable to expect a substantially higher quant score next time. In other words, you're pretty much hitting the mid-600s (equivalent to 700-ish on the old GMAT), despite being burned out. The burnout is no fun, but skill-wise, it sounds like you're not in a bad place at all -- depending on your grad school goals and the rest of your profile, you're on track for a strong score.

The GMAT can be ridiculously sensitive to even small swings in your mental clarity, and you're likely to perform quite a bit better if you're well-rested, and at your best physically and psychologically in general. If you need to take a break so that your mind is at its very sharpest, go for it. I can't even begin to guess how much time you'll need, but based on what you've said so far, taking care of your body and mind might be more important than studying more GMAT stuff -- maybe far more important.

In case it helps at all: your experience is a very, very common one. You'll see a lot more traffic on posts that say things like "I CRUSHED the GMAT in six weeks!!" -- but most test-takers deal with setbacks and struggles and bad test days and exhaustion. You probably knew that already, but it's easy to forget when you're feeling crappy about the whole experience.

Keep us posted on everything, Kiran!
