Here's a summary of my D-day breakdown

Q (79) - 4 questions wrong (q4,q6,q17,q19)
Verbal (82) - 5 questions wrong (q2,q8,q13,q18,q22)
DI (80) - 8 questions wrong (q8,q9,q10,q14,q15,q,17,q19,q20)
My question to anyone that reads this and has any experience with the GMAT is "Where did I go wrong" and "How can I improve", All the mocks i gave I regularly got a score of 645+ (GMAT Club mock tests included since they're slightly more difficult)

I have a good enough understanding of all the quants topics tests and have a fairly good understanding of the verbal section as well, I was the most dissapointed with my Quants score as I was expecting atleast a 83,

If there is any expert that can help me in understanding what I should do next and how should I go about it, I'd be deepy grateful
Hi Ffsimlildig,

Was this your first GMAT? Many test takers need two or more attempts to get a score close to their official practice test scores, so maybe (there's no way to be sure about this) you just need to take the GMAT again, without making any major changes to your prep/approach.

Hi Ffsimlildig,

615 is a great start! Regarding how to move forward with your prep, I recommend focusing on a strategy consisting of topical learning and practice. In other words, focus on just one topic at a time and practice that topic until you achieve mastery.

For instance, let's consider your study of Number Properties. First, immerse yourself in all aspects of this topic, and then focus solely on Number Property questions. After each problem set, take the time to delve into your incorrect answers. This self-reflection is a powerful tool that allows you to understand your learning process and make significant improvements. For instance, if you made a mistake in a remainder question, ask yourself why. Was it a careless error? Did you not apply the remainder formula correctly? Was there a concept in the question that you didn't grasp?

By meticulously analyzing your mistakes, you will efficiently address your weaknesses and, consequently, enhance your GMAT quant skills. This process has been unequivocally proven to be effective. Number Properties is just one example; follow this process for all Quant, Verbal, and DI topics.

Feel free to reach out with any additional questions.

Good luck!

Hi everyone,

I recently attempted the GMAT FE and got a score of 615 (79 Q, 80 DI, 82 V) , I prepared for about 4 months before attempting the test and was thoroughly confindent in my preparation to get me atleast across 655,

P.s I had subscribed to the GMATClub tests Elite package and also have a subscription with TTP, I would 100% recommend both packages for anyone wanting to get a good score.

Hi! I think it's more of a time management issues (at least in DI - given the streak of wrong answers towards the end). I think you can certainly improve on Quant by a few pointers and it will boost your score. What's the challenge you faced in Quant specifically?
