Hi,
I have given my GMAT FE at a Pearson Professional centre on Jun 3rd.
Yet to receive the official score report.
While not getting the result even after the mandated 20 days waiting period is itself agonising, the support service is even more nightmarish.
First things first, I want to bring it to everyone's notice that the *name registration on mba.com account is incorrectly worded.*
The name boxes are currently given name and surname.
This is causing confusion since some people (such as me) have surname first followed by given name.
Instead, the name boxes must be provided as: First name_Last name
This is foolproof and leaves no chance to mixup in entering the name while registering.
So, when I went to test centre, they noted my id for name discrepancy and let me complete the test.
On my part, immediately after getting home, I mailed both Pearson and MBA.com citing the concern on the "name syntax" and told to change the name order to reflect as on my passport.
But I keep getting same response from them on mail. They keep asking for surname and given name. And I keep mentioning that the given name and surname syntax is causing confusion and told them to just reverse the order from my current name mentioned on account.
This to and fro has gone for past 20+ days.
In the meantime, I have also called Pearson to atleast make a caller understand the issue. After the patient waiting on call, they simply come up with the generic response of sending mail and awaiting for the response.
Today, I have pressed to speak to a supervisor to get a better response. And I got told that my score has been sent!
I checked straightaway on call to see the test is still in pending status.
On telling them the same, they again resort to send mail and wait.
I am sick and tired on their part to not be transparent of not giving any explanation of the issue to not deliver the score even after the test score being cleared.
Anyone else facing this issue, pls reply on what can be the possible course of action going forward.
